Tplink Factory reset

Connect your pc to the router via a LAN Ethernet cable (yellow socket) If you do not have an Ethernet connection you can connect over Wifi, but some device may not always reconnect after the factory reset ( Apple), an engineer visit will be needed.

Open your web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 in your web browser address bar at the top of the page,(NOT the search bar), you should then see the TPlink login screen.

Login With Username: admin and Password: admin

Go to tools on the left hand menu and Click factory reset. Once this is complete you will need to log in again.
Go back to the tools menu and select to change password.

Put the login as admin and then use your wifi password written on the label under the router and click save.
Now select from the left hand menu Network and then WAN underneath.

On the page click the drop down connection type list and select PPPOE or PPPOE/RUSSIA and enter your username; ****** and password: ****. Do not change any other settings. Go to the bottom of the page and click save.

Reboot your router as instructed and wait 1 min. Now check your internet is working.

Please report back to let us know if the issue has gone and to give us your wifi password to add to your account for the engineers records.

If you would rather we talk you through it then please call 01158718379.
