Yet far too many people – particularly those based in remote and rural areas – have been told that they live in slow spot or not spot areas. Until the cable network spreads, they’ve been made to understand that they’ll either have to make do with slow and unreliable speeds, or else go without.
But the truth is, no matter what your service provider tells you, broadband speed does not have to be restricted to the limitations of the existing infrastructure. It’s not the case that some areas will always be slower than others.
Through bypassing cables, we’ve bypassed this problem. Rather than sending data through the existing infrastructure, we send it through the air.
Our systems communicate through precise fixed points separated by a continual path through our atmosphere. Using powerful radio devices, we can connect even the most remote and rural of areas to high speed digital networks. In this way, everyone can enjoy the sort of immense bandwidths that were previously only available in major cities and other built up areas.
To get connected, all you need is one of our external receivers. This compact device is mounted to a suitable high point on your building, connecting via a line of sight to one of our local transmitters or 360 degree relay stations. Our networks have a range of up to 50 km, and unlike copper wiring, performance does not diminish over a distance.
Our network is constantly growing, and we currently cover most of the following regions:
