Router Settings
TP-Link Archer
If you've reset your router, follow the steps below to get back online. Includes the Archer EC225-G5 Aginet.
Connecting by Wi-Fi? Use the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the base of the router. If your device says "no internet", choose Continue anyway. Some Apple devices won't proceed past this point — if that happens, use a non-Apple device, or connect a laptop by cable to the router's LAN port instead.
Standard Archer Setup
- Connect your computer to the router with a LAN (ethernet) cable — the yellow socket. On Wi-Fi, sit close to the router.
- Open a web browser and go to
tplinkwifi.netor192.168.0.1— type it into the address bar at the top, not the search bar. Chrome, Edge and Firefox all work well; Safari can sometimes struggle to load the login screen. - Log in with username
adminand passwordadmin(lowercase). - Click Network in the left-hand menu, then WAN just below it.
- From the dropdown, select PPPoE, then enter your PPPoE username and password from your welcome email. Leave everything else as default, click Save, then reboot the router when prompted and wait about a minute.
- On your Wi-Fi device, search for the TP-Link network (
TPLink-xxxx). - Enter the wireless PIN when prompted.
